We proof all work on an Epson 9900 printer with a SWOP certified RGB and CMYK RIP. Our system is fully calibrated using X-Rite Eye-One spectrophotometers for the screens and printer and we view all our output on a Just Normlicht 5000k viewing station and light box.
We use ICC color profiles to calibrate and communicate color between files and devices. Any work produced on our system will have profiles that will enable it to be output on any other calibrated system.
This allows for soft (on screen) and hard (on paper) proofing of all files straight from the application whether InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop or Acrobat.
The RIP has full support for Pantone spot colors and combined with the printer's extended color range which includes orange aswell as green we can achieve colors that are out of gamut to CMYK printers, so designs with spot colors will look exactly as envisaged, communicating color exactly and removing the need for Pantone swatches.
We use ICC color profiles to calibrate and communicate color between files and devices. Any work produced on our system will have profiles that will enable it to be output on any other calibrated system removing any uncertainty as to how your final project will look. This is how we can proof and in proofing guarantee that the output in your hand will be an accurate representation of the finished project no matter who prints it.
With an 11-color pigmented ‘Ultrachrome’ ink system our prints are archival, rated for a century or more with certain papers under certain conditions.
