About Us

Digital Skink is a graphics studio located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY. Founded by Philip Riley who is also it's lead artist and printer. His wide range of skills were developed over 14 years of professional graphics experience working for companies such as Martha Stewart, Bergdorf Goodman, The Wall Street Journal and Victoria Secret, to name a few.

In addition he has over 20 years experience in the Fine Arts where he has worked in major US and UK galleries such as Pace Wildenstein, The ICA (London) and the Whitechapel Art Gallery. He ran a public gallery in London 'The Center 181 Gallery' and of the artists he showed seven went on to be nominated for the UK's premier 'Turner Prize' with two winning it, they were Gillian Wearing in 1997 and Jeremy Deller in 2004. Philip has exhibited his own work both in Europe and the US. The same equipment, experience and exacting standards used to create commercial proofs are put to work to create fine art digital prints at Skink-Ink our Fine Arts printing company.

Digital Skink is an integrated network of professionals where inter-dependence and independence go hand in hand. When extra skills are required we work with a range of artists, designers and other talented people; from programmers and photographers to proof-readers and copy writers. In this way Digital Skink is able to get just about any project made while keeping costs low and the working ethos independent, self-motivated and pleasant for everyone.

Enjoying what you do is crucial, we believe, as it's always visible in the final result. Helping people to realize their creative visions and the simple act of making things is very much what makes our world go around.
